About

This community is essentially another spot on the Internet for my (Alan Fahrner’s) “nibble and bits.” It’ll be a bit eclectic, given I’m relatively old, have experienced a decent amount, and have a lot of interests. For instance, right now am an healthcare IT Director, a Supplemental Instruction Leader in mathematics for a university, and a minister.

In all of it, I believe that truth matters, am almost a “free speech absolutist,” and love learning. I also believe we should be kind to each other, especially our “opponents”…if only ‘cause they may be right.

Oh, and love music and try to have a relatively active sense of humor. :-)

Pleae join me as I try to, admittedly imperfectly, navigate this life and all the events occurring in it.
